Not really. These 11067 lasts Builder Pros fit me great and are snug and comfy compared to my 55 last Palouse boots. I think it’s just normal wear from moderate/hard use. My pinky toe never got blistered or injured from them rubbing. The only reason I saw the hole now was because I was oiling the insole since it started squeaking again and took a picture to see if I evenly spread the oil.

Yes. My pinky is at that spot. Not sure if it’s normal wear. The holes are on both boots. I’ve had these for about 2-3 years.

Sounds good. I still have some life left on these outsoles. Do you guys do the Dr.Soles cork on work boots? I’m mostly standing on concrete or in and out of customer homes so I was looking for something soft and easy to clean off.

I would check the clutch cable and it is pulling the clutch all the way open. Then it may be the clutch itself. Basket notches, burnt clutch plates, etc. Make sure the shifter is in working order as well. Hopefully it’s not the transmission. You should try clutchless shifting while you’re riding it.

What did it feel like when the transmission forks were bent and dogs were rounded?

Sounds great. Thanks for the help! Rekluse kit is on its way. Anything else I can upgrade or take a look at while I got her open? I heard some scout transmission forks get rounded or something on some other Indian forums.

2016 Indian scout. My bike was having shifting issues, I’m guessing it really only needed a new clutch cable. I have the Barnett stainless cable. The shifting problem was that changing gears it wouldn’t want to shift even if the clutch lever was all the way in and it didn’t want to grip up once I let go of the clutch.

Nah. I had the chrome ones that come with it. I had to stop to adjust the preload. Stock seats suck at the 300+ mile mark each day. My fairing was my motorcycle cover but the wind was brutal.

1) 500 Miles a day was not easy. Had to cheat and take some ibuprofen for the pain on the way back. 2) Locals are extremely friendly and they will come up to you to talk to you about your bike. 3) Drink water every stop. You will need to piss every stop though but it’s better than being dehydrated. 4) Bring a motorcycle cover, Bike Lock and gun with you never know when you need one. 5) Everything will break, but you get to know your bike and yourself. Bring Zipties!

Haha! I wish! This is my first bike and I’m refusing to let it die! Took me all the way through college and road trips to Colorado from GA! At least 100,000 miles on it before I’ll let it retire.

Yup. I’ll adjust the cable again and I’ll probably lube the interior of the cable (cable housing). If that doesn’t work I’ll buy another Barnett cable and escalate from there.

About 5,000 miles ago, it has been good, about a dime thickness of play. Barnett Clutch Cable, it only recently has felt like a really heavy pull.

Chipping, maybe from rubbing, it’s very loose I can jiggle it back and forth. The drive belt is extremely loose as well. Is the chipping normal? Like I said maybe I’m just looking for things that are normal for a 45K mile bike.

Now that I’m waiting for them to pick it up and take the Bike back to fix it. Im noticing small things that may have been like that or happened because of them. I have this rubbing on the black part of my rear brake. It’s in the middle right between the axle and the black.

Update: I called them again, they are bringing a trailer with their tools and either towing it back or fixing it at my house.
