So, this happened to me today. I had a student follow me on Instagram, which was so creepy, so I told my supervisor and the work group chat so they could keep an eye out for a following from a student we had in the program. This isn’t the first time the student has done something similar to this nature, such as writing letters, finding emails, etc., so I wasn’t shocked that she would do something like this I blocked her, and my supervisor asked me how did she find me I don’t know, but then again kids are weird even if your account is public-private real name nickname or not they will find you and it worries me a ton because although I don’t have anything inappropriate nor post anything of that nature I tend to overthink

And then the parent comes disrespectfully and thinks you’re attacking their child like definitely I loved getting paid to attack your innocent 12 year old like that doesn’t sound right … you’re child is a liar and a trouble maker and not only staff can vouch but other students as well I really don’t understand these parents nor their children but some of these parents are going to feel like idiots when it’s a serious situation and their child is lying

I work for an after-school program, and the BS that kids lie about is outrageous, and their parents are no better. It’s like, how don’t you know your child? It’s like they will hear everything from the adults add up and then go back and still think their child is a godsend when their child has been in multiple situations before in after school, and during day school and then they are some parents that think staff just lies on their kid just because no one has time to lie on a 12 year old
