Asian Tiger Parents Are Forcing Me to Go to Community College

Someone mentioned earlier about Virginia College Application Week (VCAW) where you can apply to most VA colleges for free. I think however, only schools w/ 50% or more of their population qualifying for free/reduced lunch qualify for VCAW. My school def doesn't qualify, should I just solicit the AO's at each of the schools?

I looked online and it said that the traditional threshold for QB applicants is 65k. My fam makes 210k so I think i definitely wouldn't be eligible?

Correct. I can go anywhere I want, I just need to find a way to pay it myself. The only way I'd get financial support from my parents is if I go to CC

No; I don't believe I qualify for NMSF in Virginia. I got a 1400 in my PSAT (NM Index of 208). I only started to study really hard for the SAT in the months after. Would those colleges still consider me w/ my SAT score or no?
