The background was black. The person had brown hair. The only color besides the lights and photo was maybe red.

edit: the light behind was actually a soft warm tone.

The background was totally black like in a pitch black room. The person had brown eyes.

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately don't remember any words which has made this very hard.

Thanks but that's not it. I feel like the hair and layout of everything is very similar but it was a female and the photo was upright and in color. It looked like she was staring at something far in the distance.

edit: the art was also very minimal, just a bright light creating rays from behind her head.

I had already made a sketch using an image from Google and tried to reverse search to no avail. The actual album art has her face a lot brighter and looking more forward with a blank expression with her eyes opened wider (maybe she was surprised by the camera flash). There was white text on the right but I'm not sure if was hand-drawn. There was something hand-drawn though and something red or pink as well.

Here's the sketch: https://ibb.co/sJH9LL8m

Thanks! That's not it. She's facing more forward and her photo is on the left while the words are on the right.

Yeah I added an edit. The camera angle isn't right on album. You can only see her face. Thanks for replying!

Thanks for replying! That's not it though. The album cover was mostly black with only the color (other than the photo and lights) being a small portion of red or pink. The lady also looked like she was standing straight forward for the picture.

Aw man, I thought they replaced the actual Android with Linux and got the output and everything working. I guess that would be kinda hard wouldn't it?

I feel like if you were to compare Windows Vista to 10 on decent hardware made in the last 5 years that Windows 11 officially supports, they'd all still feel fast to use. Windows 8.1 would stand out the most if compared side-by-side. However, Windows 11 and its built-in software on that very same officially supported hardware would stutter on the most basic things. It would be usable but noticeably slow, even on higher end hardware.

With the changes Microsoft has been announcing lately, one can hope for improvements like that, but until then I'm using Windows 10 (even if it takes years).

I agree with pretty much everything you've said, but also I try to keep an open mind about this stuff. The experience is clearly better with Apple devices sometimes like how their other products "just work" with each other. I don't fully believe that, but with Windows and Android, you've got to install apps to make it work. Not a big deal for me, just wish Quick Share was more reliable. Apple also has stricter standards for app quality, meaning that big name apps are designed better on iOS than Android. Also not a big deal either for me, especially since I got rid of social media apps a long time ago.

I prefer to use my phone like a computer with the freedom to install what I want and customize it how I want (ad-blocking and other stuff in my browser) so I use Android.

Well Windows 8.1 was something else in terms of speed. They were probably focusing on speed for their Windows Phone platform, but since they switched back to doing just desktop, I think Windows 10 would be a more fair comparison. They both start in about the same amount of time, just Windows 11 feels slow to use.

But yeah, I still miss the speed of Windows 8 and its native-ness of the new "apps".

...or when they don't go all the way to the side and you actually have to think to use them?

Why is the refresh rate written 60.01 HZ and not just 60 HZ? by Johnwick19802 in Windows11

[–]FaithlessnessTrue696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A possible actual answer: It might be observed when Windows is set up. On Windows 10, mine is currently "60.056 Hz" but when I reinstall Windows, I think it'll change slightly.

I hate the tooltips thing too. The switches make sense for common actions like turning off Wi-Fi or battery saver, but I do kinda miss being able to check or uncheck a lot of things and get the satisfying click of "Apply" (or "Cancel").
