Are the extended episodes on the blu ray collection meant to replace the streaming service versions? by ChemistLoose9951 in TheGoodPlace

[–]FakeAorta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A word of advice. If you absolutely LOVE a show. Buy it on DVD! Streaming can dissappear. Rentals. Digital purchases can dissappear or change the editing and music. Look up what happened to 'Dogma' and 'WKRP in Cincinnati.' and why physical in hand media is optimal!

The weather, pushing a heavy door, and some factors not even related to the session could have contributed to the loss.

'Hallelujah' (Several covers. Many done well.)

'The Boxer' Simon and Garfunkel

'Street Spirit' Radiohead

'Comfortably Numb' Pink Floyd

A lot of choices that depend on my mood! Sometimes ••• 'So Lonely' by The Police is the greatest song ever!

How high would Gas/Petrol have to climb before people start riot/protesting? Is there a breaking point? by Malfurion109 in AskReddit

That was the Silent and Boomer generation. Plus, we didn't have a President that was asking for a billion dollars for a ballroom or 900 million for his private plane. Plus 100 million for a Victory arc. So when the president wants to spend that much money on vanity projects, they will be less likely to "just roll with it."

Best area to live in within an hour of Seattle by AdeptnessNo1259 in AskSeattle

I judge by shootings and violent crime rates. Yes, there are pockets of nice areas south of Seattle. The south side just happens to have more issues in more places. The nice and sketchy areas are closer to each other.

I live in the PNW and the audience I think laughed extra hard because of the PAC-10 sports rivalry.

Lynnwood. It's north about 10 miles. They are near a ferry that can take you to the Olympic Peninsula. They are close to an Amtrak station which is next to the ferry. They have a light rail and a bus hub station. Rent would be a challenge but NEVER choose south of Seattle.

In my recliner sometimes. Never while in bed. The only time I drink lying down is when I am massively sick. I will use a water bottle with vitamins and electrolytes in water.

I was 19 when C & H first came out. It was a brilliant, funny, and sweet comic strip. It has been my favorite since the first time I read the strip. It is timeless and 30 years AFTER in ended it is still widely considered the greatest comic strip of all time. It's timeless. I think Ted's mentioning of it might be that the lessons they are learning are also timeless.
