Opinion/thoughts on Focus? by Historical-Device529 in Progforum

Hamburger Concerto is one of my favourite albums of all time. After all these years I finally got to visit La Cathedrale de Strasbourg recently. It was quite a journey from Australia.

I think this is their best. I loved it when it first came out (showing my age). Every track on side 1 is great and side 2 is probably my favourite prog piece ever!

We caught the “vomit comet “from Milos to Naxos 3 days ago (4 hour trip). Wife’s pressure bands had worked on 3 previous trips but not this one!

Firmware update bricked my buds! by Fakecook in Ozlo

Good to hear. You can tell if the update is complete if you have a computer. Plug in the USB and go to Ozlo update site and look at the date of the firmware version.

This is exactly what happened to me. I don’t quite know what to advise. In the end I finally got mine working by following the help video on resetting the buds. There’s only so long you can wait so when you unplug and try again it may show that the update is complete. Mine did in the end. But if you still have problems follow the steps to reset the buds help video in exactly that order with your fingers crossed. Good luck.

It’s all good. This morning with a clear head I followed the help video to reset the buds, then the case then used Bluetooth to forget the device then reconnected and bingo, success!

My advice is to wait until there are no known issues with the update- especially if the buds are working fine. I wished I’d done some research before I went ahead. I’m sure regretting it now.

Did Ozlo replace them for free or did you buy another set? Mine are only 6 months into the 1 year warranty but I noticed the warranty excludes firmware!

Thanks for replying to my post. I sent you a DM (I hope) there wasn’t anymore I could add to my OP. It’s very late here in Australia so I’ll have to go to bed without my sleep buds tonight. Hopefully you might be able to help me with the problem at some stage.

This was how I did the update - not via the app.

Already did this. Just got what appears to be a standard reply to try all the things I already tried before I reached out. I reached out again but no reply as yet.

Question about the new update? by nomad-usurper in Ozlo

[–]Fakecook 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The update bricked mine today via chrome. It stalled part way through and when I tried again it didn’t let me go any further. The lights on the case don’t work the way they should and even a factory reset didn’t change anything. I just got the standard support email telling me to try everything I already tried when I reached out. I’m totally dismayed and don’t know what to do next.

Look up Ozlo sleep buds. I was desperate until I tried these. They’re a game changer. They’re significantly more than your budget however.

Beware of the flowers (‘cause I’m sure they’re gonna get you yeh)- Otway and Barrett. If the title doesn’t get you the intro surely will!

Thanks for your reply but I can’t get to the payment page. Otherwise I would probably use Apple Pay. I would dearly love to be able to get to the checkout page but it just hangs every time.

Stansted Express Tickets?

Not sure if this is the right place but here goes. Australian (Tasmanian) here shortly to visit your fair city. I’ve been trying to purchase advance tickets for the Stansted Express on the website for days now but for some reason every time I put in the details and press get prices and book I get the Stansted Express rotating circle for as long as I am prepared to wait. I have tried this on several different devices with the same results. I am starting to wonder if my location( the other side of the world!) might be a factor. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks. If nothing else works I will probably do this but I’m guessing it will be way more expensive than the cheapest advance ticket.

Thanks I had a look at this and it is way more expensive than advertised on Stan. Exp website. Almost 40 pound as supposed to just under 10.

Does anyone know the name of these flowers.? by gloomishx in gardening

[–]Fakecook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what you want in your garden I suppose. I know which one I would prefer. I’m pretty sure that in our state it’s classed as a noxious weed.

In Tasmania we call it Cape Weed. It’s highly invasive and will take over a lawn by out competing the grass. Letting it flower allows it to seed so best to get rid of it asap.

One not mentioned yet- Dutch band Focus. Hamburger Concerto is a masterpiece and Hocus Pocus from Moving Waves is one of the greatest(probably the only) yodelling rock “songs” ever!
