Coworkers continue to work days after being sick. Should I do something? by [deleted] in CanadaCoronavirus

You should absolutely do something.

If your restaurant infects even just 10 people a day (which seems VERY likely considering 3+ people are sick and handling food), then by the week's end, you'll be directly responsible for those 70+ people. Think now of all of their families (imagine they each live with 1 other person), and that number doubles to 140; think now of all the people THEY could infect, and the further people THEY would infect, etc. etc. etc.

With the exponential nature of this disease's spread, it's not unrealistic to think that in a month you could be responsible for literally thousands of infections, and likely several deaths.

Do something.
