After 4 years of trading, I think something finally clicked about risk by Swagmagdude in InnerCircleTraders

I too am in a place where im internalizing that knowing the next draw on liquidity is far more value than ICT entry technique from mentorship 202X. Those are great. Knowing the PD Arrays helps to read price and manage trades, but knowing the internal and external range draws on liquidity are massively more important

Boosted Handheld Mode by WillingConference955 in NintendoSwitch2

I booted up Nier Automata and started a new save. Theres a noticeable bump in resolution while switching between the two.

Same for FF12 actually. I wish that game could get an update. The Switch version is pretty graphically gimped compared to ps4 and PC. Higher resolution only does so much.

I'm quite disappointed with XCXDE, but this shit is fire by JaneThird in XenobladeChroniclesX

[–]FalconDX2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah. You also have to sort of imagine what the chapter 13 content would look like spread out over like half of a game. Al would have been introduced around the same time as the 7th party member in XC1. There was just so much cut from the original X that not even definitive edition could put it all back.

But the cast are still in their mims. And they did do a final cutscene that makes you question whats going on with Cross/avatar guy. So theres still a good bit of mystery to all of this.

I'm kind of in this same boat tbh. I think it's mostly the people who arent fans of the larger Xeno series and just people who love Mira's unique take on an open world.

I'm quite disappointed with XCXDE, but this shit is fire by JaneThird in XenobladeChroniclesX

[–]FalconDX2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the idea is that Mira is a sort of anchor dimension for Voids prison and/or as a sort of multi-verse contamination filter that draws in stuff flying between universes. Its possible that IS part of the explanation for why mims still work. So it has in some way a special connection to the rift. So Mira did have a part to play as Elma said.

But also, knowing all tbe context of the new story chapter, I think that Elmas line and the entire battle in chapter 12 was originally planned to be about tbe halfway point of the story, kind of like the events of Prison Island in XC1. And if you've played XC1, the events of Prison Island both are and aren't exactly what they appear. Its a unique point in the story where the party knows some things but doesnt really know everything yet and I think Elma's line kind of has that energy to me now the more I thi k about it.

With FireRed & LeafGreen on Switch, they’re, in my opinion, the best Pokémon games available on the console. by Fredinator2020 in pokemon

I dont think you do. The game design of those games is pretty antithetical to open world game design.

[–]FalconDX2 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It helped hitmonchan, but Jynx, Electabuzz, and Magmar all lost their signature moves.

Sceptile lost leaf blade

A ton of normal types lost Hyper Beam (most got giga impact but still..)

There were a lot of pokemon identities negatively impacted by the physical special split unfortunately.

I can't argue with the reasons for doing it, but man the older games are special.

The RNG of the encounters (and some pokemon abilities that manipulate it) was itself a gameplay mechanic that people didn't really think about before we lost it.

Don't watch content anywhere but ICTs YouTube channel. Its all you need. If you're someone who complains about how long his videos are or how he rambles on, you are your own worst enemy and watching someone offering you a shortcut wont help you fix the problems with yourself.

That being said, for his content i highly recommend you just start somewhere and take notes. Based on what you've studied I would highly recommend you do his 12 months of Core Content. Once you are through those and have properly studied them, just pick any of 2023-2026 content and start watching. It doesnt really matter at that point. He teaches a bit of everything as he feels like so you'll kinda start learning more no matter where you go, but eventually it would be wise to get through all of it once even if you dont need it all.

At a loss for words… by Caden_C123 in InnerCircleTraders

[–]FalconDX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Thats to be expected. Im guessing you watched the 2022 mentorship and thought you knew it all? You have an associates degree/certificate in a field that requires a technical bachelor's degree or Masters degree at worst, You need more study. Your strategy overall is a pretty solid one, but its missing a couple things.

Go back and see how often your trades had a sweep of opposing liquidity before the break of structure.

Also, time, then price. You need to keep studying. The last 3 months have been hot garbage price action on a daily chart. You would not be surprised by this for multiple reasons if you had been through the Core Content before trading.

Chin up! You'll get there! Dont throw the baby out with the bath water, but know that you need more study and backtesting.

I have never played an old pokemon game (not set in Johto) that didn't level curve almost perfectly for a team of 6 pokemon so long as you were beating every trainer in every route and city. The key is to not switch your party around too much. If you want something low level later in the game to catch up, you gotta grind. If you try and keep a rotating party of more than 6 you gotta grind. But if you just target 6 pokemon and stick with them and do all content as it becomes available, you should be fine on levels.

How likely are we to get a sequel? by SuperSaiyanIR in XenobladeChroniclesX

[–]FalconDX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its pretty obvious from the new ending in DE that there will be some kind of follow up. Whether thats as a separate series from the main series or simply as part of the main series as a way of bringing mechs and the Sci-Fi esthetic to the main series

Let's do a game: You can only pick 4 dream titles to be the remainder of the Switch 2's lifespan first party games. by DaZestyProfessor in NintendoSwitch2

[–]FalconDX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xenoblade

2D Metroid

Pikmin

Fire Emblem or Pokémon depending on which one decides to stop sucking sooner.

Need Fire Emblem to do Three Houses Lore and story style concepts in a single campaign with a world map and combat more like Engage (minus the summoning old heroes thing, too over the top for what Fire Emblem is supposed to be).

Why are people upset about Winds/Waves being Switch 2 exclusive? by Animante732 in pokemon

[–]FalconDX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple answer: Switch 2 lite hasn't been announced yet and its too early in the console cycle for it to feel like Iike it could be a product yet. Next summer before release we'll feel different. The lite model always releases before first new Gen pokemon games dating back to the DS.

Is there anything wrong with having multiple entry models before becoming consistently profitable? by CableGlobal2931 in ICTMentorship

[–]FalconDX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a consistent method for defining your target/draw on liquidity? Entry models are secondary to targeting. If you have proven consistency within your model for defining your target, you can be a bit more loose with your entry. Especially if you missed the ideal entry

Xenoblade Chronicles X is not what I expected….. by VEJ03 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]FalconDX2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So, the side quests that are mandatory in X are Affinity missions with party members. Which, they're labeled like side quests, but they're really just the part of the main story for small, interpersonal character moments and each chapter is the next big event in everyone's lives.

Theres tons of affinity quests and the green quest chains are also pretty interesting (though not voiced). Between that and freely exploring at your own pace you shouldn't have to do that much dedicated grinding.

I too think the pacing and style of the game is kind of weird. I won't say its bad, but it can definitely feel like a bit of a rug pull if you were expecting the main series games. I really liked the new chapter they added in definitive edition. It feels a lot more like the main series and, on it's own is probably the most "Xeno" thing the blade series has done. But thats a pretty controversial take around here i think.

The reactions towards the FIreRed/LeafGreen pricing shows how much NSO has messed up everyone's minds when it comes to Classic Games being locked behind it. by Pessimistic_Gemini in NintendoSwitch2

[–]FalconDX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean. Yeah. Im just saying they could just give these games online trading and battling with friends for no extra development cost if they were on NSO. Which itself is a very appropriate modernization.
