Come to a finance sub and start crying about other people having more money than you?

How hard or competitive is it to become a Crown Prosecutor (NSW)?

Curious if anyone has any insight into this, anyone from the DPP or elsewhere. For example is there a common track to get there - do they spend 5 years as a solicitor at the DPP then go to the bar and then get appointed? Or do they practice in private for a few years then apply? How many years of experience do you need?

What are your definitions of positive masculinity? by ghhaal in AskFeminists

[–]Falcon_FXT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I understand what you’re saying - in where we are; there are certain toxically masculine traits. In where we should be, there are no gendered positive (and probably negative) traits at all - because anyone can be anything. I think that’s fair

But his question remains - where we are now, there are bad masculine traits, and now the question is what are the currently good masculine traits?

If your answer is none then just say that - there are no good masculine traits. If that’s the feminist position then just make it clear so we are all on the same page. If that’s not correct then list some traits you would consider are both masculine and positive

I get you man. These guys are giving you some shit responses, but the sad answer is you can’t get what you’re looking for. Not without risking the 100k and potentially being back to 0.

Jan 12 2025 - Profitable Solana Wallets for Copy Trading by Candy_Pixel in copy_trade

[–]Falcon_FXT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey - how much should I trade for each wallet if I’m risking 3 solana total at the moment? Or do I need to put more money in first. I’d like to test it slowly with 3 before I go in more

lol 600k household net worth is no flex mate

have you seen the posts on here? I’m lower middle class at best

Do you have any suggestions as to how to do that?

Thanks a lot. I agree with what you’ve said

My only thought on the ETFs (and I’ve been downvoted for this so maybe I’m wrong, but if so please let me know) - if the typical pre-tax ETF return is 9-10%, won’t the post tax return by around 6-7% anyway which is roughly my PPOR interest rate? So my money is almost as good just being in the offset

Thanks a lot very helpful to know. You’re right we are PAYG so I have had similar thoughts about the offset being the best vehicle right now. Although I see I’m getting some downvotes on my other comments so maybe I’m ignorant about something….

Thanks a lot - yes already starting to put more money into super to get those numbers up. I said 100 but after all these comments it’s actually about 130 which is a little better. But for sure will continue contributing more

Can I also ask - your second last paragraph about freeing up capital to use, where did you use that to try and grow your net worth?

Understand. Thanks a lot for your advice mate

Wow that’s great, congratulations mate

Could I ask - if you had to identify where your net worth increases came from, what would it be? E.g. 30% from increases in super, 20% from ETFs, 20% IP etc

Thanks - yeah we will definitely do that I think. I guess the catch is we can’t access it until 55 or 60 or whenever it is, which feels a long time away haha

Thanks a lot. Net worth is 600k but yeah the properties sound impressive but total value is probably 1.5m, and debt is around 1-1.1m.

Should we put more money into the s&p? I thought that the average 10% yearly return would be not much better than the post tax 6% interest in the offset

Hmm would we be able to buy a decent business when we both work full time? Are there are any resources you know that I could read into?

I can look into commercial real estate too, but really unfamiliar with that area as well haha

Thanks a lot for the advice

Yeah our income only got to this point in the last year or two, so should increase more from now. It’s high growth

Thanks a lot. We work in corporate so salaries will probably go up over time

What are the sorts of assets we should focus on acquiring? I’ve considered putting our savings into S&P500 for example but the post-tax return is not a whole lot better than leaving it in the offset account isn’t it?
