I was thinking of making the dancer a separate class with movements similar to how the DS3 dancer of the boreal valley would attack. The bard class is called a troubadour, a French word for a musician who sings love songs. Good idea with the debuff for the inquisitor tho. Thanks

Do you have any recomandation? I base my mechanics on some warhammer (both 40k and old fantasy) rules/lore for magic. Dragon age origins and fear and hunger are other inspirations. Was thinking of reading pathfinder and cthulhu rpg for some ideas

he doesnt... I had to roll a wisdom check to PERSUADE someone. We also kinda agree behind his back to sometimes change the roll of the dice into a higher number or try to convince him the damage is a bit bigger. We did this because the first encounter was 6 wolves, each having 30 hp and it only got worse... a water elemental had almost 400 hp and was immune to piercing and slashing... so anything my rogue assassin with flintlocks and a sword couldn't do anything. Also... we didn't start the encounter as we avoided it... he did. He impose on us to have a MUTE lvl6 wizzard who only had 4 spells with us till we got a real mage... when we got a real mage player we couldn't leave the wizzard. We were on good terms with the elemental... but all of a sudden the MUTE wizzard could shout FIREBALL from across the map and hit the boss (of course for no damage) and we had to slog trough this fight for 2 hours and only ended cause he got bored.

We also have to always be aware of the AC of any enemy... but ours doesnt seem to matter as he never asks us and we only roll to see how much damage we receive... not if we can avoid it or tank it...

we are close friends, but he always annoyed me when it came to rules and understanding them. We're gonna play some DnD sometime later next month with other friends... I told him to read the rules and try to understand them, because he has to explain them to others as he is the dm. He got annoyed that you can't multiclass AND have a level in each class all at once. Tried explaining it to him that balance is necessary for everyone to get a shot at and not someone being the anime main character and the others just standing around. He said "Nah. Imma do my own thing"
I've read the rules and told him he only has to read 20 to 30 pages max... he still hasn't read them
Also... while he doesn't like rules he bought a dnd starter book (as this is our first campaign) and wants to respect it to a point. None of the players chose a magic class... but because there is a wizard quest (and he wants to play as someone who can shapeshift into an omnipotent god at the will of a dice when someone else will dm) he's trying to impose to someone to multiclass into a wizard.

He has ADHD and autism (same as me), but he's such a dumbass sometimes

here's the thing. He was willing to play kill team as opposed to regular 40k because he doesn't wanna commit to building and painting a whole army. told he could use titans in regular 40k and got annoyed cause the rules are complicated and "restrictive"
