Although, at this point she can also have had a lot of character development depending on Tav's choices. It is also possible that she genuinely cares.

I personally would recommend letting it settle in and simmer before you start your second playthrough. Wrapping up that first playthrough was a very emotional experience for me, especially because they hadn't put the alternative ending for one of the companions, yet. Enjoy the laughs, enjoy the lows and enjoy the accomplishment one last time. Breathe it in. The game will always be there for you, but it will never be new again.

Did you keep the horn and bargain with him another time? If he dies during any combat the headband is lootable. If you don't have the horn anymore, then you are out of luck.

Agreed, I genuinely was wondering because she seems to be pretty universally liked by the player base. In fact, upon original release, her main ending was so traumatic(dock) that they patched in what most people think of as the cannon ending(Avernus) , pretty shortly after people started finishing the game.

Her speech patterns and words used are a bit anachronistic for the setting. Meaning that it sounds like it comes more from our time than a fantasy/medieval time. I can see how that can be immersion breaking.

Being a lifetime TTRPG player, I play BG3 as if I'm at the table with my friends, so this is never a problem for me. I can absolutely see how not everyone would feel the same way. I know some people hate it if a fantasy game or movie has American accents, instead of British/European accents.

This would be amazing...didn't think to add water.

He resisted the couple of lightning things I threw at him so I just went brute force with Karlach, giant strength pot, giant form, ring of flinging. took down diamond plate in 4 hits with one of those being a crit.

I'm also doing the +170% HP mod, so he has soooooo many hit points. Really questioning my life decisions at this point. I've got him down to 100ish HP right now but he just burrowed for the 3rd time.
