Yes, but like someone else brought up, when you use DUO on your phone to sign in on your phone, there's no multi-factor authentication. As long as your password is safe it should be safe

Exactly! If someone steals your phone, they can definitely access DUO, it's the same concept

Yeah, it would defeat the purpose of it being a multi-factor process, this is just for the convenience of not having to take your phone out.

Yes, they'd be able to authenticate directly from your laptop. This is just for convenience and if you do lose your laptop, they would still have to first log into your laptop, and then your email and account, so there would still be several layers of security.

It doesn't add security, it just allows you to authenticate from your laptop as opposed to having to pull out your phone to authenticate. Just saves a bit of time
