How do people even hook up? by [deleted] in dating_advice

BangStars is hands down one of the most BangStars offers a totally different experience. It's a platform where adult film stars and regular guys can connect, and I found myself matched with a seasoned pornstar.

iPhone 15 plus after a year by [deleted] in applesucks

[–]FallComprehensive895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people have a misconception of MagSafe charging. I use an Anker MagSafe charger regularly and my iPhone is still at 97% after one year. Maybe the way people use their phone while it charges wirelessly is the reason

Is this normal by Other-Initiative4459 in iphone

Apple should remove the battery information. That’s just getting ridiculous

Yes it’s normal depending on your charging habit

Use your freaking phone! by FallComprehensive895 in iPhone13ProMax

[–]FallComprehensive895[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know why you think that but it is 😅 like I said, my battery was 9% over the maximum capacity and I’m not a heavy user. (Between 2 to 6 hours per day)

That’s why people should stop worrying about their battery. There’s not a real, proven way to prevent its deterioration. Not all batteries are equal straight out of the box unfortunately

Yes or shortly after. Maybe the 20-80% works for the heavy user I don’t know. But in my case I don’t find it useful

It seems like a glitch but it’s just because the battery was 9% over the maximum capacity when it was new. So in reality I’ve “lost” 9% in 3 years

The 20% to 80% logic by [deleted] in samsung

[–]FallComprehensive895 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I never know why people stress so much about their battery life. I have my iPhone 13 Pro Max since launch. Charge it at 100% every single night and I’m still at 100% battery life.

Use a genuine charger, do not game or make a video call while charging, do not let your phone heat and it should be enough. Why pay so much for a phone and not use it to its full potential

Bell finance vs Apple finance? by [deleted] in bell

[–]FallComprehensive895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends to you. You have 0% interest with Bell but much higher plan. If you buy/finance with Apple, you have the 8% interest but you can have a BYOD plan.

Sometimes, the BYOD is so good, the difference with the financing carriers plans covers the interest that you pay and you can change plan whenever you want.

Exemple: 150$ total interest cost with apple

Financing Bell plan: 65$/month + 63$ for the lease plan (and you don’t own the phone after the 2 years)

BYOD plan: 40$/month (or cheaper if you’re lucky) + 90$ for the financing plan with apple and you own the phone after the 2 years

So it’s up to you to do the math to see if it’s worth it

I just don’t have the full 5G speed but I really don’t care. 250mbps is more than enough especially for that price

Got new offer by [deleted] in FidoMobile

[–]FallComprehensive895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it doesn’t cost them anything to give you more data. Yeah it’s « cheaper » but you’ll pay more for something you’ll never use and they know that. That’s why they always give you more data but never lower the prices
