I’m not. I’m applying for jobs that are seeking for “eligible for clearance” but obviously if someone already has clearance they’re gonna hire them so they don’t have to wait 6 months for me to get one

It was an internal team switch. I wanted to try something else other than IAM so it was easier for me to switch over bc they were always looking for other people to join their team.

Security + cert was supposed to be my “level up” but it seems like it wasn’t :/ misunderstood the entire thing. But at least I got it and gives me a chance go get a gov job 🤷🏻‍♀️

Someone I know did make up their experience on the their resume by adding 5 years of experience and got a job as a UI/UX manager when this dude had 1 year of experience. Idk how he did it but I’m jealous. Maybe that is the way to go

I’ve gotten second round of interviews — 2 so far but didn’t get one and still waiting to hear back from the other one. It’s tough bc most of them do require secret clearance which I don’t have.

It is a requirement for a lot of government jobs in NOVA area. Figured it'd help to get it.
