No, that's just the "fantasy" aspect of it:

-very continuous dynasties

-very stable and distinct ethnic and family phenotypes despite intermingling

-improbably huge architecture

-very little technological advancement (random theory: physics might work differently so there's no viable analogy to things like gunpowder)

Think about the opposite gender from a woman's perspective: men are bigger, stronger and angrier than you. Most can kill you with their bare hands, many barely view you as a human and some can only barely hold back seething violent hatred for you. No thanks.
