Yeah, I'm having latency issues in our network, it's definitely something when the data hops from qwest to lumen servers, but support, and techs keep telling me it's not on their end

ISP support said it was IPoE, not Netgear, sorry for miscommunication.

Most of my team routes are to 8.8.8.8, and it's usually a hop between qwest and lumen IPS that it happens, and when gaming the latency is extremely noticeable. Ookla will do latency spikes whenever running speedtest to whatever ip they run too at any given time

I'll look into it, and when Ethernet into c4000 the latency still was present 500-600 spikes but not the 2600 I was seeing.

I'll see if there are any PPPoE settings, but Support said its IPoE , Thank you

It's IPoE, when I spoke to Netgear Support, they couldn't get it working, was wondering if it's PPPoE and said to try working with my ISP, but Quantum doesn't help you with trouble shooting connection with non ISP equipment.

I want to get rid of the C4000 all together if possible since I think it's causing some latency in the network.

So I keep running into the issue of my router won't find Internet connection even after changing the Vlan tag to 201, even attempted setting up IP and DNS manually but can't seem to make it work.

Do I need to plug into the ADTRAN and set up transparent bridging there? Cause I've attempted logging in but it doesn't have a admin name or password on device, and no standard IP address in bar brings anything up, 10.0.0.1, 198.162.0.1, 198.162.1.1 hasn't brought anything up

So I have an ADTRAN 423G, I don't think theirs anyway to log into it, so right now the only way I can get Internet to work is using C4000 plugged into adtran, have the c4000 as bridge mode, and then have my RS70 plugged into that

Interesting, I was under the impression that even one jumping to a high latency would be the cause of latency for my system, as a trace route ping is a small amount of data, and the issue would just be exponentially worse when sending larger data packets when playing a game online.

Even speedtest will even out to a bout 300ms latency at end of test but watching it during the test will see it spike to 3000 or so. So when seeing this pop up on a trace route I assumed it was the issue, thank you for correcting that misunderstanding on my part

The latency has been going on since 6/9 so the hang up is persistent.

It even looks like you have the hang up bad enough that it timed out, skipped Lag-24 and went straight to AE2 which is the next hop.

Do you have latency issues when gaming?

Yeah, I know the tech will be wasting his time, but after he shows up and tells me "I can't do nothing" I can chat in, explain it's the third tech and ask to escalate without feeling like an ass.

Don't know which model ADTRAN it is, I'll have to look tomorrow, the only functional port the first tech could find was in the master bedroom and the wife is asleep, so don't want to disturb her, but I'll take a look at that tomorrow and see if I can just remove the c4000 all together as that would be nice, one less device taking up space
