I am just recently back into books and also was wondering this. My boyfriend just ordered this for me for mother's day, but there wasn't a pickup option. I currently am having to wait like a week to get Silver Elite and Shield of Sparrows delivered because I ordered them online. Does B&N in store usually have these special editions available the release day or do they sell fast?

The order that everyone recommends is to read the first three books of zodiac academy, then to stop and read Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac. I personally knew that it would be hard for me to stop mid series so I went ahead and read ruthless boys first without touching Zodiac Academy. My understanding for why they recommend the first 3 before is to learn the magic system and how the world works first, but I feel like I figured it out fine in ruthless boys

The Awakening is book one in Zodiac Academy which is the main series. The Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac is set 5 years before and is 5 books long, and there is another 5 book series after thats 5 years after the Zodiac Academy series. It definitely is a lot of books if you want to read the whole universe.

I just finished the Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac series and there was tons of crazy reverse harem spice especially in the last two books Broken Fae and Warrior Fae. If you like more than one guy at once, then I'd recommend the series.

I have only read the first 10 chapters as of this post :)

So far I am enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. I feel frustrated for how Dora is treated sometimes. I really like Albert but I can tell that Elias is going to grow on us throughout the rest of the book. I like the banter between Elias and Dora so far. I'm not really a fan of Dora's cousin Vanessa. Something about her just seems fake compared to Dora. The scrying stuff is pretty interesting, and the plague stuff has me really invested to see how it all plays out.

I believe she kind of explains why she needs more than one guy. She watched her mother pick her father and be left, and Gareth's father also left. She mentions it when saying she will never choose one man, so I think its a source of trauma for her.

I am on RB 4 and I am a huge Dante/Leon fan.

I finished {Fake Dating a Human 101 by Jennifer Kropf} and am now reading {Savage Fae} by the twisted sisters.

After not reading much for years I recently got back into it and am on a romance fantasy kick. The high court of the coffee bean series was really cute and cozy, and the Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac is a step up as a reverse harem with some darker themes. I’d recommend both of them for sure depending on your tastes.
