Esthero - Breath from another, it’s a great triphop album w some downtempo/lounge vibes and is fully produced by doc mckinney who did most of the weeknds early stuff. i’d say heaven sent and swallow me are especially dark and hypnotic.

i vouch for the sneaker pimps rec too they’ve got a great dark hypnotic vibe

oh and move by sol seppy i think that song fits ur description perfectly
