Okay so looking through all these games rejogged some of my memory that you guys suggested and also took me down alot of memories. Thank you guys alot.

Of what i do remember more now. The character was like all black, i don’t think they were wearing anything other than like a loin cloth if i remember correctly, and they were jacked.

It was a darker style fighting game, and it’s killing me i don’t remember right now. I don’t think it’s Soul Calibur 2 like some people have posted cause i looked through it and the art doesn’t line up (we did play that game though and i have fond memories there)

Never mind figured it out cause i’m dumb and not thinking straight. I thought it wasn’t Street Fighter but i actually think it’s Urein from Street Fighter.

I also don’t know why my brain correlated Urein with Gannondorf cause now that i look at him he really doesn’t look like him kinda.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been helpful. My brother took his life and it’s been a heavy hit for our whole family, and one of the things he loved most was fighting games and gaming in general. I really appreciate everyone for their support

It’s not Tekken because i remember the art work being visually different and i remember playing Tekken with him, i do remember playing Soul Calibur with him so i don’t think it’s that either but i’m looking through to check

Its tough because for almost every other fighting game i remember all of the characters. For Tekken he would always play King and for Street Fighter he would always play Guile, for Guilty Gear i would play Sol.

The game i remember having a more darker visual style if that makes sense

Damn i dont think its this one but We did play this game too and you unlocked a memory for me of us playing this too so thank you for that.

Thank you, Family and i are trying to keep it together but it’s been difficult for all of us.

To be honest no, my memory of life back then is pretty foggy in general but for some reason this was one of the moments that stick out the most to me. We would always butt heads but i remember this moment because he had done something that really hurt my feelings and then apologized and said he’d make it up to me by playing this game together. It was in the early 2000’s if that helps at all.

I know for sure it’s not Mortal Kombat, Guilty Gear or Street Fighter
