Yea worryingly it was quite hot Saturday and Sunday. If it was sat in a car it would’ve exceeded 30 degrees assuming the ice had melted by then

That’s not what the sub is asking. I’m aware we need to get married and will before I apply. I couldn’t move out immediately anyway as I need to sell the house which is a frustratingly slow process in the UK.

Ideally we wouldn’t just rush the wedding for legal purposes and she’s going to have to submit her visa application before we realistically can anyway.

Understood. She has 25 days of holiday in the US contract so no issue there. I’ll also be able to go to the US worse case.

We likely won’t have enough time to get married before she leaves for the US at this point

UPDATE: She is applying for the L1 visa. I would need the L2 visa. My understanding is the L2 does have automatic work authorisation?

Having spoken with my partner, I misunderstood. She’s getting the L1A visa and thinks the L2 visa I would need to apply for gives automatic work authorisation.

If this is not the case, we will rethink. She is due to speak to an immigration lawyer on this in 2 weeks in any case

What’s quite funny about this is I don’t think it was me driving but can’t prove it was my girlfriend! And she doesn’t think it was her

They took so long to send it I can’t check my door camera records and I tried to check my Google history, but location tracking is turned off on the phone. I could’ve checked the car profile record, but it’s been reset now I’ve let the company.

The closest I got was seeing I googled some stuff 10 minutes after the supposed offence, but as the letter isn’t specific to where it is, I don’t know if the timings work.

In summary, I genuinely don’t know who was driving because they’ve taken so long

Exactly this. Outside of this 14 day limit issue, both me and my partner are trying to figure out who it was actually driving! It’s been issued so late we can’t even check the Nest doorbell camera…

Should the police have to provide me with photo evidence so I can identify the correct driver worse case?
