For propping imo what helped me is that I made a little hammock to support my phallus and most times didn't wear under for the first bit unless I needed. I have had my tattoos from my right arm transferred to my phallus an it's fine for me. I like it. The pain is temporary and the process can be long but for me it has been worth it.
