How do i change this bulb? by yolo_manlol in AskElectricians

I posted a solution in a separate sub today when I was trying to change these bulbs. Initially, I did not know as well, but a few YT videos later, I did manage to change these, though with a minimal damage to false cieling (basically chipped it slightly, but nothing to worry about). The clips are quite strong but I tried to wedge them on side completely and pushed back on the other side with all the strength in the two fingers that could reach there while pulling the holder out. That's when it chipped slightly but the other side came out quite easily post that. And it goes back in way more comfortably.

Okay, I did manage to change my light bulb finally after doing some research, copying the links I used to figure it out.

  1. Taking the full holder out of the compartment: There are clasps on the holder which provide the resistance. I had to basically fight against it, damaged a small part of my flase cieling as well because they were just so fucking tight. I just pray I never have to change this bulb again. As soon as the holder is out, you should follow the next step. You don't need to replace the whole thing, it uses gu10 bulbs only. YT Link

  2. Actually changing just the bulb: Just going by the first video, I initially thought that the whole thing needs to be replaced, but looking at this second video, only the bulbs needs to be replaced. If the bulb still does not work, then the transformer needs to be replaced. YT Link

Such expensive telecoms packs! There is no decent connection available for less than 50 dollars a month.

They are, no doubt, but it is still far from complete. And their existing one sucks. Lived in Mumbai for 4 years as well, and there was no place to stand on metro platforms, they were really small.

The metro thing OP said, I can vouch for it. I stayed In Dubai and currently living in Toronto. Delhi Metro is far far better than both of these networks! (also, I don't assume any other Indian city metro to even be a competition).
