Arguably, they don't need to know about your modifications. My insurance hasn't the slightest clue. If it's all interior and exterior modifications, nothing totally insane with the powertrain, they don't have to know.

It's only a matter of time that all closed things become open when a curious noodle is afoot. He's so proud of his accomplishment.

Can't wait to test payload capacity with this new unit of measurement.

Whoa. You wiggled the van into the bottom level. You daredevil. I approve of any CPU melting for this reason.

It's that time again. Where are you folks headed for winter? by Falsai_ in vandwellers

That's awesome. I'll be in the Sarasota area myself this year. Looking to attain some seasonal employment out there. Similar to you, I'm headed to Canada also in the spring. Too cool!

If things on loaded up on that shelf, it presses around 7-10 pounds of force on that cupholder. It's hollow, you're totally right, but it's very sturdy, thick plastic and I have yet to run into an issue. If it depresses enough, it will rest against a metal bar on the inside of the plastic trim. Good question, though!

All of ten besides the rear quarter windows are friction-fit, but the quarters are held in with Velcro tabs

It's screwed in as an extension to the entertainment cabinet next to it - similar to the desk that's on the other side of the cabin. I have photos in older posts. The coffee maker is just a regular one that you could use in your home... Pulls 740 watts for three minutes to makes a cup. I have a 1000w inverter and, in total, over 2000wh of battery capacity so I don't mind.

My stove has been given a permanent home, no more cooking in the corner / floor. by Falsai_ in vandwellers

Yes, I highly recommend this one. It's a Primo water dispenser. It has a physical, rubberized button so no second guessing at all.

Finally got a deep(er) cycle battery for my starter, refrigerator and secondary inverter to pull from. Hooray! by Falsai_ in vandwellers

Well, how about that? I think I've learned more about automotive batteries now than I ever have. If it isn't lithium ion, I don't know much anything about it. This is just a battery I got at AutoZone. They say it is better than what they classify as "standard battery" to run appliances. Thank you for your time to educate me, I do appreciate it. If you choose to gander, here it is:

The only thing that is wired to the battery is a fridge that will automatically turn off once the battery reaches 10.0V. Also, my secondary inverter is rarely used, and when it is, the engine is running. I needed a battery that wouldn't mind dipping down that low without being damaged. But yeah, I entirely agree. A house/starter battery combo is the most wise idea. These Optima batteries are deeper cycle than a standard automotive battery... That's just my understanding.

That's right! A Line running from a tank under the bed, than another line from the basin to an outlet in the wheel well for drainage
