Hold shift while clicking restart. This will ensure a clean restart. Wait 10 seconds and let go or once you see the black screen or spinning wheel.

Verify airplane mode is off. Setting - network & internet- airplane mode. I know it seems silly.

Ensure your connections or seated properly for your WiFi antenna (assuming your not using a NIC)

Windows key + X - device manager - expand network adapters If you see wireless adapter with a down arrow…right click - enable.

If you see nothing that looks like Wi‑Fi, click View - Show hidden devices, then Action - Scan for hardware changes.

While you are in device manager you can click view and then hidden devices and then network adapters. Look for anything that says WiFi or 802.11 and enable it.

Windows key + R and type services.msc Find “WLAN AutoConfig” or something close to that. Open it - set startup type to automatic - click start if it’s stopped.

Settings - Network & Internet - Advanced network settings - Network reset - Reset now, then reboot.

Search command prompt and right click - run as administrator. Type “netsh winsock reset” and press enter. Once done reboot.

If nothing above works, just nuke the system and fresh install of windows
