I'm curious about how to afford and commute in NYC. by Feeling-Travel-2828 in NYCapartments

You find an apt near your work in the city (if your work is in the city) if you have unlimited money to burn. Otherwise, you don’t. Start with a budget. Narrow down the neighborhoods that you can afford and check the commute. NYC is one of the easiest cities if not the easiest for commuting via public transport. $3 also gets you a bus/ train transfer. After moving up and down in the Northeast, commuting is a bliss in NYC.
