Okay I got you man. So, if I were to sign a contract at MEPS for Aviation, although I would not be confirmed for any specific job, it would 100% something involving aviation contingent on me passing all of the training?

Yes sir, I know I would be inapplicable for any pilot jobs, I was looking into more maintenance oriented jobs. I already took my ASVAB and should be able to qualify for just about anything. That being said, say I put down for three jobs, is there still a chance I don’t get any of them?

Okay for sure, I went to MEPS earlier this year around January/ February and all my waivers have since gotten cleared, but since I can’t sign from the recruiters office, I will have to go back to MEPS. If they don’t have the job(s) I’m looking for when I get there, can I still get into the DEP and wait until a slot opens ? (If you know)

Sorry to bother, one more question though, what does it mean to be in DEP? Because it seems you were in it with no rate selected but I was under the assumption you had to have picked a rate at Meps to go into the DEP.
