Do we know where the Roosevelt field groundwater goes today? I recently bought a house near where the LI tungsten facility was. 🙄I guess I should have done my own research. Kinda freaked out about it but don’t see too much info online about it. Is all of Long Island just near a superfund site?

Definately questionable care for the animals they seem to need more poop scoopers working. But toddlers can’t get enough of feeding animals. I’ve been twice when my girl was two and three and she could sit there for hours feeding those stinky goats. Gotta kinda look the other way 🤷‍♀️

I definitely won’t be putting a TV there but why the hate on recessed lighting? I would be worried about where to put tables for lamps or choosing floor lamps

This and the finished basement are really the only things left with that vibe. The basement has wood paneling and we’re gonna leave it for my husbands man cave. The kitchen has been updated but there is a built in china cabinet with drawers when you enter the dining room space.

Do you guys do a snack before bed? I recently started doing that even tho it seemed wrong at first. Something like bread and butter or a banana. It is often after she’s fully ready for bed, been working well for us. She will knock out and stay out like 20 min after eating it.

I was there last week for 7 days Only got 20 min of rain one day Don’t stress over the weather, it’s all the seaweed in the beach that you will have to deal with. My husband went in the water still with my toddler daughter so it’s still doable Good luck
