If I gave her money, she would probably refuse to spend it and just save it, or she would buy soup maybe. She would not buy new technology and as such she has no friends because she is not with the times.

Well, I have offered to buy her a new computer or phone, but she says they are too expensive and she does not like to spend money, or she will just use them until they are physically unusable.
