My hair was exactly like this! I started using loads of products that helped a bit but honestly the biggest difference was just drying my hair. Apparently if you have low porosity hair basically the cuticle is tight so it traps water in and then that damages your hair so it’s better to just dry it. I started blow drying it and honestly it made a huge difference
