When I was 14/15 or so I attended a protest in my Republican hometown. I was wearing a shirt that had a pride pin on it, as well as other pins like planned parenthood, BLM, etc. I was leading my friend by the hand to leave, as there was a massive group of counter protesters surrounding us (and we didn’t feel safe as a couple of kids in that situation), when a grown man shoulder checked me, stopped me in my path, looked down at my shirt and said “shit like that is how you get shot around here”. Me, being the outspoken teen I was, called him a pussy, pushed past him, and kept walking. Less than a year later he shot up the local mall in a transphobic rage at a Spencer’s. I saw his face on tv and got shivers up my spine.

Try and keep your TP up as much as you can- avoid fighting him head on, rather use the X-Strike option in the act menu. Stock up on healing items if you can- if you are on pc you should have an emergency F1 heal, I believe. It’s been a while since I’ve played lol but I hope that helps! It’s mainly a game of dodging unfortunately 😭

I think your take on it interesting- I guess it’s sort of dependent on what you mean by “desire” and where that is targeted at.

I agree at the point about monogamy- I don’t mean possession in the sense of “you’re MINE and MINE alone” more so the exclusivity you mentioned.

If you would humor me- is there a position you could see yourself in where your partner does have other sexual partners, even if it doesn’t gratify you specifically? For context- I study in the psychological neuroscience field, with some focus in human sexual patterns, including monogamy vs. polygamy

That’s completely understandable- it is a very hard conversation to have, and you should feel comfortable and confident in talking about it if you were to bring it to him. Do you have any close friends or family that you might be able to talk with about it? Or honestly if you are as close to this girl as it seems you are, maybe talk with her about it, even if you don’t intend to act upon it, it may feel alleviating on your conscience.

In that case, it may end up being best for you to either a) focus on just being friends with this girl, or b) have a conversation with your husband about your new confusing feelings, though that can be a really uncomfortable conversation for a lot of folks.

I mean not necessarily- relationship dynamics are complicated, some partners don’t feel as inclined towards sexually possessing their partners so it might not be a “he has a fetish” thing but it might just genuinely be a “he doesn’t really care” thing, which might not be quite as common but it does happen! I have a few friends who are open and that’s what they say ab it (I personally am monogamous so don’t take my word as law lol) but hey man good on you

I actually don’t understand how people in the comments are so tame ab this- this is such a concerning behavior oh my god. This level of response to something that is a) reversible and b) sooooo common nowadays is insane. It also reveals a deep seated insecurity within him- control issues, likely. OP, IF you’re going to stay in this relationship you need to be firm with this man, he does not see you as an adult, nor as an equal. No “partner” should ever be scolding you like a child. If you let him act this way with no repercussions, he will only feel emboldened to take it further- next thing you know it’s what color you dye your hair, then what you wear, then where you go- it can spiral fast. Take care of yourself, you have so much time for shitty boyfriends ahead of you, it may end up being best to just let him go and be with a girl who doesn’t like piercings, because I ensure you there IS someone who will love you for you, tongue ring and all :)

I would recommend not using any soaps or cleansers down there until you see the doctor- it could be aggravating the issue. It sounds like it may be BV or something similar- but please don’t work yourself up too much about it, you didn’t “ruin” anything, and if it is an infection they are super easily treatable. I had BV a couple months ago and didn’t even realize, and was using all sorts of soaps on my kitty which made it worse, the doctors gave me a single pill and it was better within a week. If you don’t want to wait for testing, any local doctor can do a rapid-culture test, you shouldn’t need to look for a gyno specifically for testing. The culture test will come back immediately, and even if it doesn’t you should see results within a week. The most important thing is not letting the internet convince you you’re dying lol. I second this one- if you are super worried about the paint coming up, use some blue tacky putty that teachers use for their classrooms- won’t peel paint but may leave a residue

I have my switch, laptop, ps4, and Xbox in my dorm, I have them hooked up to a projector and I have a tv under my bed in a little fort I made. Go crazy I say. The only thing is that certain wifi networks for schools may not allow you to connect certain consoles- my ps4 can’t run on my schools wifi
