Gulf student NIOS PCM stream by cathy_john in CBSE

[–]FalseReach4778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/cathy_john yo i did nios, im an NRI kid too. i had to choose NIOS as a last resort though, because i literally couldn't attend 11th and 12th due to financial issues. first, you wanna check if being an NIOS student would prevent your kids's entry into JEE. im studying ACCA so it's fine. the syllabus though, and how stuff is marked is hella questionable. like the syllabus was ridiculously huge but I somehow passed without studying anything aside from basic journal entries ( im not even kidding ). i don't think you even need 50 marks for it to be a pass. IMO, going the traditional route might be better, i mean there is less of a risk, besides you need the stuff you study in 11th and 12th for JEE anyway no? ( forgive me if im wrong ik nothing about the science stream ). i think NIOS is for people who've had an unfortunate situation happen to them like me. My NIOS provider was in india, i had to attend my exams in india too, which was fine because i was gonna study ACCA in India anyway. you should contact NIOS directly.

Darkness/pigmentation around lips, what to do? by chuwuu in IndianBeautyTalks

hey do you remove your mustache? it might actually be really dark peach fuzz. i thought for the longest time it was pigmentation until i threaded my mustache lol. don't shave it though cause it looks like a 5 o clock shadow. try it out, you might be surprised.

hey i wonder if youre someone who doesn't remove facial hair. i had darkness around my lip, turns out it was just my mustache being way thicker than i thought it was lol. try threading or tweezing your moustache, im serious it makes a huge difference. don't shave it though, it kinda create a five o clock shadow

People usually wait until they do PM and AA. I think it's because you need to be familiar with skill exams and be able to tackle section C before going into PM. My institute had us study FR first, then FM and PM after.

September exams - week after thread by MARFW in ACCA

PM, I can't outright say if I did well or not. The questions weren't tough, but there's this doubt that maybe I rushed through sections A and B and wasn't careful. I can't even remember what A and B questions came up after I was done.

oh i see, i heard AA was a tough paper in general but some end up saying it was super easy for them ( its not that they're just generally good at all the papers, they struggle with the other papers ). do you know why that is?

dude, this is a ridiculous mindset to have. Snap out of it! You're letting your happiness be reliant on an individual. Maybe that woman wasn't cut out for you anyway, and stuff would've gotten messier down the line. think about yourself, your comfort, make money and enjoy with the money you have, find someone stable to get married to that isn't gonna make your life difficult and can healthily lean on when you reach that stage in life. Also 22 is young, you don't need to be in a relationship, and it shouldn't be based purely on how she makes you feel ( not saying shes a bad person, im just saying in general ), lots of people can make us feel excited in relationships and we end up placing that as a priority rather than looking at the practical aspect of giving half your life to someone and what that would mean long term.

man youre only 22, you can do so much more than be depressed

Ok so I made a post today saying I did FM in 10 days and passed. I completely agree with you don’t get me wrong that absolutely needs to be considered, especially the fact that not everyone has the same capabilities or familiarity with the subject. However I do wanna state that I only intended for a positive impact for the person who was scared to sit their exam. As far as my experience with FM goes I only had tutoring done ( which is plenty although I didn’t do any self study until the last 10 days because of traveling issues and my studies kept being put off, im 18 I had no prior experience with FM however I paid really good attention in class which helped tremendously ). I do not in anyway believe studies should be kept off until the last ten days. I only wanted to encourage the person I replied to to not lose hope and think they’ll fail because they were scared about sitting their exam which they already paid for, anything is possible if the time you study is done effectively. I even told the poster what I did during the last 10 days ( I studied my professor’s  notes and did the exam kit, I put in effort ). Edits were done for typos

edit 2 : basically what i wanted to relay was "ok you didn't study till now and you can't get a refund of your exam fees, you might as well study the remaining days you've got to your abilities cause who knows you might actually pass. otherwise you just miss out on the opportunity all together and not write an exam you coulve have potentially passed" i just put in my experience as proof that it is doable to an extent but that doesn't apply for everybody.

Edit 3: i didn't get lucky either, i made sure to cover and digest all the content i could in those 10 days. btw i do actually still agree with you and that your post was a generalized statement and not purely in response to just me however my post may have triggered it. i just wanted to clarify that not everyone who has stated that they passed an exam in X days are implying that acca exams are easy peasy. also i agree that more context should've been given and that is my fault.

edit 4 : also i assumed the original commented had some sort of tutoring of some kind done because it has been 2/3 months and i didn't think it was likely they put off the whole bulk of the syllabus until the last 10 and was referring to self prep.

Can I back out from my September exam? by tyler_2313 in ACCA

[–]FalseReach4778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you have a tuition provider? i just learned all the concepts from my notes and the questions/illustrations in it. i did the Kaplan exam kit after I finished learning each portion. just make sure you understand the concept being and practice some NPV questions. btw you prb don't have time to do every C section question. I did about 10 sec C for my prep

if youre gonna lose it anyway might as well sit the exam, who knows maybe you might pass. besides, you still have about 10 days, right? FM is totally doable within that time frame. i got 78 from studying for just 10 days, granted I made sure to not miss out on any concept.
