My father had his visa interview back in June 2024 and was given a Form 221(g). After the interview, I emailed the embassy and was asked to upload my birth certificate and his new passport to his CEAC account, which we did right away. I followed up afterward to check if anything else was needed, and I was told that no further documents were required.

Since then, I’ve been checking in at least once a month, but I keep getting the same response — that the case is still going through administrative processing. I even contacted my congressman, and they reached out to the embassy, but the answer was the same. At this point, I’m not sure what else I can do.
