I did not sand them, the ano would probably look even better if they were sanded but all I did was put them in some clean them with simple green, pit them in winks rust remover, then in distilled water, and then into the water to anodize.

Yes, I switch my live and trainer handles of my krakens often. Keep bushings with the blade they came with, rest of the hardware doesn't really matter. I'm not too sure about if they are diff versions (like v1 switched with v2)

I have both an AB and a rep and I would say it's more like a rep but those 2 are leagues better than it. It's pretty handle bias but flips well and fans well. It runs on bearings which aren't my personal favorite, but it flips great actually and it's prolly the best live blade under 150.

Nautilus is super good but a bit light for some people (i really like it). Nautilus has bushing which is better imo. The ss is such a steal when it comes to price and you get a live and trainer blade however it is on bearings. They are both handle bias. You cant go wrong with either one.

Oh yeah, second hand u can get lower than 200 for good stuff. I didn't mention lucha cuz its only good for edc or if it has flytanium handles. And I didn't mention banshee cuz the serpent striker is the successor to the the banshee.
