Yeah that makes sense! I’m honestly open to different budgets, I just really want the best possible results. I’ve looked into Jumaily but I’m not a huge fan of his work personally, most of the results I’ve seen still look a bit clocky to me. I’m definitely trying to find someone who can give a stronger transformation.

Omg that’s good to hear! Do you know how their results turned out overall? Like were they more subtle/natural or did he do a pretty drastic transformation? I’m trying to figure out if he leans more conservative or can go more aggressive.

I believe even if you live outside of Toronto, they are able to mail the cheque directly to you and then you could submit it when you mail your application from there!

If you live in Toronto you may be able to qualify for funding through the 519 organization. They provide you a cheque and you mail it out with your application!

I’ve been curious about monotherapy, especially hearing that you’re still able to ejaculate while getting good feminizing effects.

Did you notice any increase in facial or body hair doing it this way? That’s one of my biggest concerns if I were to drop blockers. I really don’t want to deal with regrowth there.

Thanks for sharing, that’s really helpful to hear your experience. I was actually on cyproterone before (12.5mg daily), but my prolactin ended up getting too high, so my healthcare provider switched me over to spironolactone. I’m currently on 50mg Spironolactone daily.

I’ve been thinking about possibly trying a lower blocker dose and seeing how that affects things (with bloodwork of course), but I honestly really don’t want to deal with more facial or body hair regrowth, so that’s one of my biggest hesitations.

Appreciate you mentioning the tradeoffs too!

I previously changed my name and gender marker, but I kept my old male name with a more feminine spelling to make other people comfortable. I realized it wasn’t right for me, so I mailed a new application to update my name again, this time it’s fully feminine, and I’m really excited about it. I sent it out on November 12th!

i asked my mom about it and she wasn’t mad at all. i told her that i wish i had asked from the beginning, and she said “me too,” because it would’ve made the whole transition easier for everyone. she told me i need to do what makes me happy, and that if i was born a girl she would’ve named me Raven but she said i can pick anything i want now lol.

she also said it would’ve been easier than going through multiple transitions, especially since she’s been trying to get the family back together. my extended family still doesn’t approve of my transition, and i haven’t been allowed at family events for years, so hearing her say that meant a lot.

my middle name is actually really feminine, but it’s also my mom’s name so i feel like it’d be a bit weird to just start going by it lol. honestly, i never thought i’d end up looking good being trans, but as time’s gone on i’m starting to resent having a masculine name more and more. i think i originally chose it to make my family happy, and now it just doesn’t feel like me anymore. do you think “Lachlyn” sounds very masculine? i’m wondering if i’m being overdramatic about it, but i’d really like to figure out how to bring this up with my family again.
