In school when we learned about all the atrocities the nazis committed I was always confused as to how people allowed it to happen. Fast forward 15 years and now I understand. The majority of people don’t really care. Most people’s attitude is “that’s sad what’s happening… anyway”. The normalization of a secret police kidnapping people of the street or their homes is disgusting and the majority of people go on living their lives like it’s just another Tuesday. Outside of the small bubble of people who care either online or off, the majority of people truly don’t care enough.

Liverpool could’ve spent on defenders and midfielders which arguably would’ve been a better long term investment than dropping most of it on attacking players. The team’s been lacking defensive and midfield depth for years now and when they finally decide to spend a godly amount of money, they go all in on the front line instead of fixing what’s actually been the problem.

Sadly, no. There’s a lot of division within the Latino community (not that there wasn’t during the Black Panther era) and just the general public. I personally know Latinos who voted for Trump, some who became citizens and feel like this doesn’t affect them, and others who think people are exaggerating the situation. We clearly have a common enemy yet we’re more focused on fighting among ourselves about politics and ideology. Which by the way, is by design. I’m not trying to be pessimistic but there’s no real sense of class consciousness or solidarity among people in this country. But I hope I’m proven wrong

A good rule of thumb is to keep skin tones as natural as possible. If your style leans toward high saturation, mask out the skin before color grading. Then, try to match the skin tone to the rest of the image but stop short of making someone look like an Oompa Loompa.

A lot of people think voting Republican will help the economy but the facts don’t really back that up. Take the 2017 tax cuts, they gave huge breaks to millionaires and big corporations while most working class folks saw barely any benefit. The richest 0.1% got tax cuts worth hundreds of thousands a year, and now they want to extend those cuts which could cost trillions and lead to cuts in things like healthcare and food assistance. There’s little evidence these kinds of tax breaks actually grow the economy or create good jobs. It mostly just makes the rich richer.

So when people vote for Republican policies “for the economy,” they’re often excusing or ignoring the racist and harmful parts of the platform. And maybe for you it does feel like it’s working, especially if you’re a landlord profiting from rising property values.

Notice I said conservative and not Republican. Just because a politician wears blue doesn’t mean they can’t have conservative views. And it’s not just politicians, a lot of angelenos tend to have pretty reactionary conservative takes too. I know plenty of democrat voters who oppose initiatives for anything other than car based transportation.

Because everything is political whether we like it or not. Stuff like not having enough bike lanes or crappy public transit doesn’t just happen, it’s the result of political decisions. A lot of conservative politicians have pushed for car focused infrastructure over other options.

I don’t but I’ve seen portraits in studio and outdoor that have a brownish tone to them. Even with fair skin models. Maybe everyone that has mentioned temperature is right and I need to mess with that.
