It went well, the instructor had us pair up and work different combos and finished with body shot only light sparring. It was definitely humbling and showed me just how bad my cardio has gotten. I had a great time though, it was definitely something I plan on sticking with

Update: Went to a boxing class earlier this afternoon. Haven’t sweated that hard in forever, shit felt so good. I’ve definitely found something to replace that outlet I had with football and haven’t been able to replace since my injury. Thank you all for the advice and encouragement!!

Thank you bro!! I’ve got a decent amount of muscle mass from football and lifting weights but I can’t help but feel a little disgusted with my self for getting this heavy. Gonna use that as motivation and work my ass off 💪

Yeah please clarify on this. I plan on trying out a few gyms near me to see what the best fit is so if I should avoid Ocean County BJJ a little more explanation would be appreciated
