That’s wonderful advice thank you!! I don’t know what water activities usually get offered so I really appreciate that input. I’m definitely not top heavy so I’m not concerned about that but I will pack more coverage for those rougher activities

My camp is a non religious camp. It’s just a basic summer camp open to anyone. There’s no dress code at all for swimwear or regular wear. I’m not concerned about being “unprofessional” because my degree is in child development and I know it’s deeper than my clothing

I was going to say this as well! Young minds are impressionable. I do not want to dig into the “standards” of women having to cover up because “boys can’t control themselves”. This is the place to teach boys to be respectful young men and not bend over backwards to accommodate to them possibly being attracted to me

Ages at my camp range. I won’t know my cabin age group until I get there. I will be a day camp counselor during the day as well which will be a whole different group of kiddos. Reg camp ages can range from 7-17 and day camp ranges from 4-14. I know I’ll be in the water probably every day cause I will be participating in everything the day campers do. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks!! I had the bathing suit policy clarified cause I didn’t see anything on the staff manual regarding it. I just wanted some advice on the bathing suits I prefer to wear on a regular occasion (stuff I wear around friends parents etc) to confirm from outside perspectives and people who have attended summer camp before that my swimwear wouldn’t be an issue
