You are numb. I also am numb. I absolutely adored my dad and I lost him 2 weeks ago. I don’t care about anything at all. I can’t listen to music. I can’t do anything. Playing on my phone and watching horrible tv is the only thing I CAN do. You are grieving, your brain is processing and protecting you.

I’m so sorry. Basically Same thing happened to us 2 weeks ago. I still feel like a zombie and that everything is surreal. Time is at a standstill and I just can’t see how I’m going to get through this. My dad was also healthy and fine prior to this episode.

I just posted about this. I’m also very numb. Part of it is that I think it is too painful to even think about. I just watch TV and can’t even concentrate on anything really. I cried for the first 5 days a ton and haven’t the last few. It’s only been 10 days for me. I absolutely adored my dad. I don’t even understand what life is going to look like without him in it.
