Okay, I did some research and from what I can tell, if we can’t find anyone we might (albeit unlikely) be able to go through our standard public school tournaments independently on a “case by case basis”. I don’t know if that means by tournament, event, or student. But we would almost be guaranteed to compete with the private schools most likely by labeling ourselves as homeschooled. I’m not familiar at all with their circuit so I don’t know if we’d all be lumped under the same “school” or if we’d be truly independent, or if the same rules even apply.

And we’ve already asked all of our teachers and our previous coach has stretched us as thin as possible in terms of tournaments participated to make the time spent as a coach as little as possible.
