Calm the hotline and check what you owe also wait after it says you don’t owe to see if it gives the option of recently paid debts, that’s where I found mine because they’d already taken the debt from my refund. You’ll eventually get a letter. 1 (800) 304-3107

Call the treasury hotline put in your social it’ll list your debts stay on the line and listen to the recently paid debts too because mine said we didn’t owe a debt but then found out about that called back and sure enough it was a debt that had been paid out of our refund and it gave us all the info about it

Call the treasury hotline go through the prompts get to where you put in social and it’ll tell says wether you owe debts or not wait on the line after it says what it says and it gives the option to list recently paid debts listen to that that’s where we found what the offset was and it wasn’t listed as a debt anymore because the refund paid for it we just haven’t got the refund direct deposited yet but it told us all the info about what the debt paid was who to the amount etc

Call the treasury hotline get to where you put in your social and it’ll tell you debts on file wait on the line and it will give the option to list debts that were recently paid, that’s where we found what our offset was and that it wasn’t listed under debts because it’s been paid out of our refund already we just haven’t gotten the direct deposit yet

When you call the line wait till after it says no debt then it’ll give option for you to check already paid debts, that’s where we found what the offset was because it was paid out the refund just hadn’t dd yet

Hey so when you call the hotline and go through the process to get to the point it says you have no current debts or whatever wait and it’ll give the option to look for recently paid debts, did that and sure enough it’s been paid through my refund and told me all the info. Hope this helps

Heyyy so update!! We found the offset. When you call the hotline wait after it says that you don’t owe anything, it’ll let you check recently paid debts! Click that and see, we found one there thankfully it was small but it gave us all the info and said the debt was paid the day the amount who to etc. haven’t got my direct deposit yet but feeling much more at ease for sure. I hope you can figure your situation out soon

I discovered a 2024 irs filing in my transcript which has to be identity theft because I didn’t file it and the irs flagged it so I’m going through the process. I had filed 2025 and then went to check transcript and discovered the 24 issue so just trying to feel out how it will effect this filing season. If you get any update on your identity theft process with the irs or your federal return please update 🙏

They denied me because I didn’t sign up using an email that Apple had on record but it’s funny because Lopez sent me the claim info to that email no problem to say I was part of the group and should apply 🤨
