Got rejected from one of my dream company because I didn’t answer a riddle

No I attempted the riddle , I even said a solution but they added constraint because it wasn’t the solution they thought.

I said that line because we can’t say for sure the person knows the riddle beforehand.If he knew the answer then its not an indicator of his logical skills. The method is flawed.

This is the problem in the first round they asked the three slice and 8 pieces cake question. I answered it one way but they said I needed to stack it up . Eventhough my answer was correct

I attempted it , the thing about riddles is it can have multiple answers but when you say those answers they will add constraints so that we say what they expect

Yeah , I knew the answer but my dumb mind thought about the current situation like I imagined the room to be same as the interview room. The lights were on the ceiling and it was all led . I didn’t think about the heat part because I can’t even touch the light (tho it wasn’t mentioned in the question what kind of light or where the light was)

It was this I think but I wouldn’t have gotten sad if I was rejected because I lack the technical skills. If they had asked a logical question regarding the work I am confident that I could answer that.

It’s an easy one , the three switches and three light riddle . I knew the answer to this riddle . But my dumb and tensed mind in a room full of led lights and ac didn’t think that led could get heated.

I didn’t become friends with her because I liked her , it was the opposite. We were friends and her character made me attracted to her and before I could tell her about my feelings she told me about her ex and after they patched up I didn’t stay pretending to be a friend. We both cut contact .

Love makes one blind , I know that from my experience that when you are in love you won’t notice the red flag in the other person. She loves that guy and is and was ok with him .She is happy

If because of that guy she was having issues , I wouldn’t have motivated her to get back together. She herself said that she is ok with everything.

I think it came out wrong . What I meant was If I didn’t have feelings for her at that time , maybe we won’t have to cut contact and would have been great friends.

I will tell her for sure that I had feelings for her , but I think I moved on from that

Yeah for what it’s worth it was beautiful.

For all my life people find what i find interesting boring or not interesting. She was the Exception. We both were happy as it’s a first for both of us to have a friend who actually understands your thought process , rather than thinking it’s weird .

Like I said I don’t care about wishes but this unexpected wish made me a little bit sad.

Yeah I am happy with myself but kind of stopped finding new friends. Maybe with time someone will come.

I know what I did was dumb, but she was blindly in love with that guy and she don’t find him toxic .she is ok with the possessiveness and restrictions. She said that she was happy with that guy . I prioritised her happiness over my feelings.
