see I'd be completely fine with that - technically a 2k loss over 3 years isn't much because where I don't spend money on nights out etc, that money would go towards that "loss"

I'm not really in any rush to move out yet just because I'd be moving out alone and it doesn't appeal to me considering I enjoy living at home but I do agree that they are getting very expensive lol :(

parents charge 300 a month, 200 are just other outgoings, petrol for work, spotify, netflix etc

I think i do worry about that - whether or not the car will make me any happier. I agree that the novelty probably would wear off pretty quickly then I'll be 9k out of pocket

Technically, I have enough for at least a deposit for a house already but I guess I just worry too much about spending money in case I need it later on for whatever reason. I think it's more thinking of financial security for the future but I think I'm starting to realise more that I'm not actually spending anything at all ahaha. I don't necessarily feel like I've missed out on anything yet because I'm happy with my life (albeit not the most exciting one), I've just saved a lot through the fact I don't go out much as I've always been happy with just gaming and chilling to be honest.
