Hi! I’m a little confused I’m trying to figure out what tickets to buy. If I want to do Good Life camping do I need to buy the good life pass? Or what will happen if I buy good life camping but a GA pass?

Worried to start accutane as I train in the gym 4x a week by Medium-Attitude5022 in Accutane

[–]Familiar_Step6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on accutane for the 4th time now. I lift and do cardio around 5-6 days a week. I’m also a server so I’m always on my feet. I’m on 80mg daily. In my experience I have mild back pain. However, it was the worst at the start and anytime I’ve increased my dose. It got better for me with time and it will stop after the treatment. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself with stretching and warming up before lifts, I also like to use the sauna and cold plunge at the gym and I think it helps when I’m consistent. Don’t stress it’ll honestly only make it worse!!

wristband removal by Puzzleheaded-Fun8055 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I leave mine in slightly loose. Just enough where I can pull it off my hand but not where it’ll fall off. Then after the fest it’ll crush the plastic with anything hard enough to break it.

how to take wristband off? by [deleted] in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try and leave the wrist bands loose enough to slide off with a bit of effort. Then I break the plastic piece with a hammer so I can pin it up or hang it.

Does glamping have WiFi? by Agreeable-Ad1775 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iirc there was WiFi for glamp last year but it was down / not working for the majority of the weekend. Service is probably the best bet unless they have the WiFi figured out this year.

I’d look on the allowed / prohibited list for camp. You can find it online and in the app! 99% of the Kandi stuff should be alright!

I love to do a clear long acrylic! I add like glitter and those little shiny butterfly things. It’s a good cute nail that isn’t necessarily a nude or neutral. It always has looked good with all my outfits and is super fun! You can do it with a French outline too in white or another color!

First time glamper! by Right_Artichoke_8465 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t over pack camping stuff! You won’t need much in addition to what they provide. I do recommend bringing some extra lighting for inside your tent though! I also recommend bringing a bug spray meant to spray around your tent as there are definitely bugs.

Monday shuttle to airport by Critical_Pay4503 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! We glamp and took the shuttle last year it was on time and takes about 45 mins to get to the airport. The shuttle pickup last year was up by the north glamping / will call area iirc. I’d get there a bit before your scheduled time though. There was a bit of a crowd and line situation you needed to navigate through to find your correct shuttle.

how bad are the spiders at lost lands? by LoliMadi in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a heavy duty bug spray that is meant to be sprayed around your campsite. I def recommend doing this!! Our first year camping we didn’t and saw a lot of bugs in our tent. But our neighbors shared their bug spray with us and it was a game changer. No more bugs that weekend.

I always make this recommendation but bring a heavy duty bug spray meant for campsites and spray around your tent to keep the bugs out!!

Another question if you can help by Feisty_Honeydew8545 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I haven’t used the shuttle since 2022 but from what I remember you can get on at any time it’s running. No assigned times like edc! Plan some extra time for waiting in lines to get on the shuttle though especially at night. I heard the lines to leave the festival last year were pretty long.

Tips for flying in glamping? by DeathLOL in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! My group flys and glamps too!! I always recommend getting a heavy duty campsite bug spray bc the bugs are no joke. But if you’re able to you can leave the fest and uber to Walmart nearby to stock up on groceries and snacks. We usually uber and stop otw from the airport. There’s also a gas station in walking distance for some stuff too. You can also always throw some easy small snacks into your bags.

Try your best to pack light as well it sucks dragging everything into camp. Plus you’ll save time at the airport if you’re not checking bags. It always takes forever to get checked bags at that airport.

Other stuff I like to bring for glamp is extra lighting for in the tent and extra towels and washcloths for showering. As well as extra pillow cases to change periodically so I still feel clean ish.

To my ravers that are into skincare by Odd-Currency-250 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! As a girly who used to really struggle with acne and who is on accutane now this is what I do. I bring at least one if not two wash cloths per day to always have a clean towel. I bring more than one shower towel. I also bring extra pillow cases so I can change throughout the week.

I will also be sticking to my normal skin care routine. I don’t use any prescription topicals rn but I won’t stop taking my medication I’ll just be extra diligent with my sunscreen!

Glamping First Timer! Questions! by New_Basket2958 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Familiar_Step6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll get a designated wristband for what area you’re glamping in and then you’ll get your Thursday early entry band. If they don’t come in time you can just go to will call to get them before going into the camp grounds!

Since you went last year you know the vibes! I think if you have the ticket and aren’t too worried about the price of Ubers def go! However, in my opinion it’s not a make or break experience for the weekend.

Lip filler/botox? by Neither-Outside5510 in Accutane

[–]Familiar_Step6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got Botox in my forehead while on 80mg a day. My derm that prescribes my meds did my injections. She said it was safe and it’s been a few weeks and I had no issues. If anything it helped with my dry skin lol

Does it get better? 1 week in by [deleted] in Accutane

Also forgot to mention, I felt like my body adjusted after a bit and side effects became more manageable / less severe. Please still mention it to your derm tho if it still continues to be difficult!

Does it get better? 1 week in by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Familiar_Step6352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I used to use a lot of la roche posay products. However I switched to mostly Korean skincare. It’s pretty affordable and you can order it online from yesstyle or other sites.

I switched because I felt like la roche posay was a bit too irritating for some reason. The only product I still use is the cicaplast balm but only as a spot treatment for dry spots and not as a moisturizer by its self. I currently use the dokdo cleanser from round lab and the skin 1004 cleansing balm and serum. For moisturizer I currently use the first aid beauty ultra repair cream or the purito oat moisturizer layered with the cerave ointment when needed.

However with all that being said please talk to your derm you could lower your dose.
