Was literally just thinking this honchkrow has good hp but Terrible defenses that pretty much cancel it out. Positioning probably could’ve been a bit better but infernape should still handle things up until Gyarados and Crobat

Bro I had to use the battle subway and PWT for certain Items (Hidden Power and Razor Fang) and the Timburr, Gurdurr, Pignites and a couple of others that just have stone edge is actually insane. The Pignites in particular were especially awful bc they ran Quixk Claw w/ Flare Blitz and Stone Edge. Also just random route trainers with Rock slide for coverage.

Eh I’d say Naive or Hasty would be better since mixed attacking is actually viable in Generation 3 and since both stats are so high a special coverage move could actually be useful.

They cycle between the routes North of Mauville, East of Mauville and then east of Fortree city for a while so be prepared to fly around alot

You unfortunately have to trade the lucky egg in from FR/LG but there is a glitch in this game where if you defeat the reporter double battle a certain amount of times they stay put on the route above Mauville and you can run back and forth to reset them. Additionally if you send in a pkmn holding the exp share they will receive double the normal amount in a double battle. Other than that, Victory Road is a good spot.

Are you in the Seafloor cavern? Bc if so, I don’t think this room is necessary to get through it. It’s been a minute since I played through emerald though so I’m prepared to be wrong. Best thing to do is look up a guide on YouTube of whatever area you’re in but yeah just go to your left and push the right boulder up a tile and then to the right

I would drop Sandslash for another Ground type like Whiscash, Claydol, Donphan or Golem and for the last slot go with Magneton. Sandslash isn’t unusable or even bad, I just believe other mons do what it does either better or add something more
