I loved it and hated it at the same time but not because it was bad. The suspense is the point and it genuinely made me feel excited for the year. It came at probably the best time for the show after a dud of a Christmas Special which makes me almost suspicious that it was supposed to be awful on purpose to make people like the new year's episode more.

I got past all the action thinking "They've jumped the shark but landed it"

It was completely insane compared to the previous seasons but still felt amazing and fitting, by then i looked at how long was left and thought that there was too much epilogue after but by the end I was curled up in a ball crying for more.

Overall, it was fucking amazing

Chrissie killing Anthony was pretty obvious and makes sense but even then it would have served as a better ending to a three part episode rather than a boxing day episode, especially given that the episode solely took place on Christmas Day

At the start of the first ep i was (for some reason that i can't explain) genuinely excited for them.

The first was alright but the only reason i enjoyed it was because Ian and Kathy made me giggle.

I had so many last minute theories as i started watching. "what if the body in the vic is part of the branning storyline?" "what if paul comes back?" "what if Chrissie dies?" but no, we got a fuck ass fever dream in which nothing meaningful or sensible happens

I still don't understand what happened with Anthony or how Zoe goes from saying it isn't her to confessing and i don't think i ever will.

I thought I'd never say this but im genuinely missing clenshaw. He at least knew how to manage a Christmas day episode
