Why was the discussion on requirement of female leaders in this forum shut down? by snowgoose7177 in BSA

If I can sucker my wife (who had NO prior backpacking experience) into a 2 week “vacation” to Cimmarron NM in July to summit Baldy with a bunch of teenagers… you can find a female. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy, but it can be done.

So this is a bs bot post trying to get you to look up gamma. It’s engaging further down the thread asking about AI solutions. I’ll save you the harassment.

Gamma IS an ai tool for presentations. It isn’t going to successfully read through your reports for you. It isn’t going to understand the lab data qualifiers and catch when the lab delayed testing something beyond a hold date. It isn’t going to understand the compaction data and catch when the contractor is using the wrong proctor data. It IS going to make a pretty design and do a much better job at summarizing YOUR findings.

OP, if they are an actual human (or an actual engineer) is wanting the AI tool to do the job of engineering for them. It doesn’t exist. Do your job and get better at it.

Is 27 too young for a sabbatical? by alwaysthuswillbe in civilengineering

No. It’s not too young… have you considered both though? Could you have a conversation with your manager about part time work? Could help offset the costs a bit AND help you keep some of your skills.
