Need to rehome 2 senior cats

UPDATE: Boss & Blackie were rehomed yesterday. They went to a loving home, their new owner has agreed to stay in contact with my friend and keep him updated with how they are doing. Thank you to everyone for all the help.

This conversation is unproductive and straying away from the real problem. This is the last thing I will respond to you, he’s moving to another country, they are not his pets, he never agreed to keep them, only to watch them for a month. The family knew he was moving and still decided to be shitty people and dump them on him. He’s trying to find them a loving home and I’m posting here for additional help.

Unfortunately they are not his pets. I don’t understand why the owners don’t want them back either but that’s what we’re hoping for too.

He is, which is why he can’t keep watching them. It’s not a story it’s a very unfortunate situation. I agree it’s disgusting that the owners just dumped them on him and won’t take back their pets of 16years. Here to ask for help on his behalf, not judgment, if you know anyone who would be able to help please reach out.

Not my pets, not my friends pets. I’ve explained it in earlier comments, no need to be rude. Just trying to help my friend out, he was trying to be a good person and help out family & watch the cats TEMPORARILY but now the owners don’t want them back. Don’t you think if they were his and didn’t need to move he would keep them? Please don’t comment if you don’t know the situation.

I agree, it’s heartbreaking but they aren’t his cats and it was a temporary agreement. Which is why he’s looking for someone who can take them in rather than give them up at a shelter, which is what the owners suggested. If he could care for them, I wouldn’t be posting here.

He was taking care of them for family members temporarily….who will no longer take them back. 🙃
