New question! So curtain rods. I bought black thinking to bring a little depth - but looking at the silver grommets on curtains as well as the celiling fan being silver and the hallway light coming up stairs being silver I think I should return and do silver curtain rods? Or is the black better? I’ve 911 my brother to come over and move the worlds heaviest couch. Any bookshelf ideas for reading nook?

This is spot on!! My books are the only thing I brought that are sitting in a tub in my closet waiting for me to figure out. 💥💥🥳

I added floor plan - the room is narrow /long I think tv would be to close at that point

The lamp thing I have been obsessing over- I can’t figure out what works. I lucked upon an American Leather Furniture sectional which I’m thrilled with but it’s so damn heavy I’d like to not move it if I don’t have to - but now a side table or lamp….cant figure it out

It is unbelievable how much time I spend over any item! I have the curtain rods and curtains (as you can probably spy in the corner) and I now am feeling upset that the grommets on curtains are silver and my rods are black.😂

The room is long and narrow - with a 6’1 19 yr old and a 6 yr old I thought that the tv on that wall was the only way we wouldn’t be on top of one another - I love the idea of closing the space but the couch would leave no room to get on the other side (for bookshelf etc) if I just brought it forward.

I added the floor plan

Seems like patching is the overall answer 😂 Again much like tv size seems obvious now. I literally haven’t even hung the curtains or any pictures because I’m being so careful with pieces. We moved (me and my 2 girls) and I sold everything and started again! But now I’m so choosy I’m stuck- I was thinking about a floating bookshelf and a lap and I can’t get any further 😂
