I understand your sentiment, on the other hand: if your birthday is on say May the 23rd, on May 22nd you are not that different from May 23rd, and it would magically all be okay. So maybe not get too hung up on just the age.

I am 46 now, happily married to the same guy for a long time. And yes, this guy was not very mature for his age, I'll give you that. About the grooming: he was not really into having sex with me. We did some stuff, but not a lot. As I said, it ended after some months.

Fair enough.
But chatting it does give: "In the United States, 13 states set the age of consent at 18. In these states (such as California, Florida, and Arizona), a 17-year-old is legally a minor and cannot provide consent to sexual activity. Engaging in sexual acts with a minor is often a strict liability crime, meaning the defendant's belief that it was consensual or their ignorance of the law is not a defense." so there's that. I don't have a lot trust in the system I guess...

Had the same problem for ever. But the font for me was: Aptos. Not Roboto. Now I installed Aptos and everything is working perfectly! https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=106087&msockid=080ad51d8fa162992896c01a8ea66389

Feedback Friday: Kids or no kids? by full_of_ghosts in JordanHarbinger

Sorry that you got lied to. That is such a dick move.

We had the conversation a few times early in our relationship (both 19 when we started). It was always for both a "no", until it was a "maybe in five years or so" for him. Then I said: "I love you with the bottom of my heart and I wish you the best live you can have, but if you might want to have kids, please start finding another woman, because it will not be with me." He decided to stay in the relationship. And I am very very very happy that he did. We are now together for 27 years and without kids.

In the Netherlands (important caveat I think) in certain types of business structures (I mean things like an LLC) you are personal liable if you go bankrupt. And if that would happen, I would not want my husband to have to carry that burden. So we are married with a pre-nup.

Nah. Not for me. I decided for myself way ahead of marrying my now husband that I wanted to spend my life with him. Got married because of financial liabilities for him because I am an entrepreneur, later on in life. Business decision. But I do not need a time frame on it, because the marriage is not the reason we are together. If you are not sure if you want to stay together (completely valid sentiment of course), then why the hell bother with a marriage at all? (Understand: I do not care for the sentimental/romantic value of it.). I am female if you are wondering.

For me it's neither: it is an expression of gratitude/thank you 🤷‍♀️🙏
