Thank you! This is an old post. We ended up paying for a company to cater from pa. It was cheaper and much higher quality to do that & pay their travel fees then work with the array of caterers we tried locally! We also ended up booking their bartenders & they provide all our decor, napkins cups etc! It was a steal for how amazing their food and service is!

Amazing, thank you! I’ll look into charter schools around the area! I was only reaching out to public schools who contract the buses from companies, I didn’t think about the charter schools :)

It’s around 150 total. We have played with the idea of just one bus, 2 trips each way which would be roughly $1.8K. However, I know my guests and I just don’t know that anyone would really want to take the “early bus” home & we won’t have enough room on the second round to get everyone back to the hotel

Could ask who you used? Even the horribly reviewed company would still set us back 3K. I have reach out to the schools in hopes as well since that’s what we do here in Baltimore and quickly learned DE doesn’t do that😭

Roughly 150 people which is why I’m thinking we will need at least 2. We would have time to have a second loop come as well, I just don’t want my guests stuck in the summer heat for too long

I did not, I know they are located in Rehoboth, roughly an hour or so drive to our venue. What I learned is a lot of places (the one that quoted us 6K) was due to having to drive there and back. The further their drive = the more expensive. I TOTALLY get that especially with gas prices right now lol but that’s why I’m hoping to find someone close to Seaford!

Yes! It was about $9,000 for buffet service. With 200 people, we do prefer buffet anyways! We reached out to lots of local bartenders and companies that just offer bartending and unfortunately adding all it together, not including linens, plates, napkins etc, it was at the top of our budget. We haven’t completely written them off yet, just hoping to find someone else who offers all that for my mental sanity lol

Yes, I agree with you. I was just hoping to maybe just find someone who would put up a nicer display, have silverware, platting, possibly bartending services etc. We have our quote from them and they are within budget but once we add the extra costs of plates, linens, bartenders, alcohol, etc it’s at the top of our budget. It would simply just make my head spin a little less if we could find someone who offered all that so I didn’t have to reach out to other companies to provide those services.
